Laura Brossart is the Assistant Director of Communications and Dissemination for Center for Public Health Systems Science, at Washington University in St. Louis. Laura directs the Center’s communication plan and activities, overseeing all internal and external print and electronic communications with Center partners. She also provides guidance on design, development, and production of Center evaluation and research products (print, web, and interactive). Laura serves as a Co-Investigator for the User Guide project, funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The User Guides are a series of tobacco control implementation guides on specific topics from the CDC’s 2014 Best Practices for Comprehensive Tobacco Control Programs. Laura also serves as Dissemination Manager on Dr. Jason Purnell’s For the Sake of All project. Laura’s primary interests include knowledge translation, dissemination planning and implementation, and data visualization.
